Prediction for Ripple price: Ripple price may skyrocket above $1.40

With a market capitalization of $59.23 trillion, the Ripple price is still the seventh largest cryptocurrency. Ripple is beginning to show a dramatic increase in market value and currently trades at $1.25. To confirm the current market direction, XRP/USD could continue to move in a bullish manner.

If the price breaches the upper border of the channel, then the resistance levels at $1.45, 1.50, and 1.55 can be reached. If the Ripple price breaks below the moving averages then it could hit the support levels at $1.05 or $1.00. If the price falls below these levels, another support level could be found at $0.95, while the Relative Strength Index (14) remains above 60.

Comparing with Bitcoin, Ripple's current price is at 1915 SAT. It is hovering above the 9 and 21-day moving medians. If the 21-day MA acts as market support, Ripple may face resistance at 2000 SAT. Nevertheless, reaching this level could help the coin reach the resistance level at 2200 SAT or higher.

The Ripple price could also continue its downtrend if the bulls fail keep it above the moving averages. It may even drop further towards the channel's lower boundary. A further bearish move could see the coin reach the support level at 1700 SAT or lower, while the signal line for the Relative Strength Index (14) will continue to move below 55.
