Trumpworld's bitterest dispute between former allies is now between the two ex-allies.
Lin Wood, Attorney, stated that he believes Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been under the "influence devil", which escalates a dispute between these two fierbrand supporters of Donald Trump.
Wood made comments to The Daily Beast that he was thinking about launching defamation suits against prominent right-wing figures like Tucker Carlson and Greene.
They both sided with Kyle Rittenhouse in the dispute with Wood. Wood was his former attorney.
Rittenhouse claimed Wood used his homicide case as a way to make money. Wood denies this claim.
Rittenhouse was accused of homicide in the deaths of two men during anti-racism protests held in Kenosha (Wisconsin) last year. Wood was dropped by Rittenhouse and he hired another lawyer who obtained his acquittal last week.
Greene demanded Wood be imprisoned for alleged misconduct in handling the case of the teenager.
Wood responded quickly.
Wood explained to The Daily Beast of Greene, "I mean, from the biblical perspective, she is under the influence devil."
"Because those who follow Jesus Christ don’t lie. Marjorie Taylor Greene is lying. You can draw your own conclusions.
Wood published text messages on Telegram, apparently as revenge against right-wing figures.
According to him, Greene was part of a group of right-wing "deep state" agents who were trying to "destroy his credibility." Wood stated that "They knew what they did and they lied about me like dogs."
Wood and Greene were once close friends in the far-right Republican movement. Both Georgians played important roles in pushing Trump's conspiracy theories about election fraud.
They also endorsed the QAnon conspiracy movement and have gained large MAGA social media followings.
Wood, a well-known lawyer, advised Greene even before she was elected to Congress in 2019, Politico reported.
According to Charles Bethea's text messages, Greene hired Wood last year as her attorney.
Insider reached out to Greene to get his opinion on Wood's comments.
